Just Some Fun April 14, 2011 Was playing outside, of course, enjoying this gorgeous weather. Christopher picked up the camera and took some shots of Joshua and I together. They were over exposed and out of focus, but I JUST LOVE THEM! Look how happy he is goofing off with his momma!!! This motherhood thing is definately the best gig ever! So I'll do what I see soooo many 'pro' photogs doing with their poorly exposed images and just change them to black and white and share anyway ;)   Best Birthday EVER! April 13, 2011 Well this is certainly shaping up to be the BEST BIRTHDAY OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Yes, it absolutely worth capitals here. My birthday is still weeks away, but I've already been gifted with a trip away to a photo conferance with a group of girls I just adore. And now today my dad sent me on a birthday shopping trip! WOO HOO!!! Thanks to my cunning shopping skills I got FOUR pairs of new shoes, and TWO new, and desperately needed, purses.  I do realize now that the true fabulousness cannot fully be appreciated without seeing the super crazy high heels. Very sorry about that.  The piece des resistance! Voila! The incredible torquoise blue suede and pattent leather pumps. Believe it or not, I took this self portrait after just wearing this to the playground where I engaged in a rousing game of tag with the elementary age children. Old Fashioned Picnic April 11, 2011 The family and I went to an old fashioned picnic... though unfortunately the hubs and I weren't dressed as dapper as the kiddos. The original plan wasn't to go to such an extreme, but it just so happened that these outfits had arrived the night before that I had ordered for a late summer photo special I'm planning - stay tuned for those details ;)   A friend of mine pinpointed exactly what I was trying to put my finger on - Newsies!!! Remember that movie? Joshua had thought he looked just like Edmond, his hero from the Narnia tales.   The boys sure had the attitude to go with the clothing.  Well you may think this is a nice shot of Christopher, it was a total fluke. Most of his pics were... umm... a bit more animated ;)   And of course Miss Nataley. I would have certainly loved to include more images of her, but she declared just after this, my first shot, that she had to potty and ran in to the church. So please let the record show that I did try to include her in the pictorial as well. April Showers April 8, 2011 Today could not be more of an April Showers kind of day. Now I LOVE the rain, so there's no complaint here from me. I am also equally looking forward to the summer temps we'll be getting this weekend - yipppee!  If you squint you might be able to notice the drops coming from the statue's nose, chin and rose.  I totally don't get this, but I just love the lines here. I really don't know why, but I do. *shrug*  This spot would be simply ideal for Water Sprite photos, except that it dries right up in the summer. :( I can't likely schedule sessions hoping for a flood.
