Fun Stuff
February 26, 2010
I've been getting lots of goodies in the mail for the upcoming senior season. Tshirts, hats, and tote bags are just some of the fun things for give-aways and gifts to my 2011 seniors. Yes, they're girlie. I promise note to make any of the seniors of the male variety walk out wearing a floral and skull shirt.

I'm still looking for a couple of more senior reps, particularly VWHS and Crestview. The upcoming senior needs to be active and outgoing! If you're interested, send jodi@hatteryphotography.net an email with your name, school, activities, and three things you love about yourself. The lucky senior gets two free sessions, gifts shown above, and the opportunity to earn tons of free prints. Pretty much, the more you spread the word about JHP, the more you get free pics. Who can't stand for free senior pics in this economy!?
Happy 100 Days
February 23, 2010
Well they weren't all happy, but today is the 100th day for the kindergarteners. This is cause for celebration apparrently, as the kids all had the assignement to put together 100 of some item.
When my eldest, Chris, was in kindergartener, I was sewing daily and he wanted to pick out 100 pieces of fabric for me to sew him a quilt. It was a fun project to do together and I planned to the same for each of my kids when they were in kindergarten. Then Josh came a long, and he's very much his own person, and wanted something way easy like stickers or something. I don't even remember. This year, third child syndrome in place, I completely forgot we had the project due and went last minute to wally world. $37 later and I found some little scrapbooking flowers that had glitter and faux gemstones. I knew Nataley would be in love, and we had a great time together seperating, counting, and applying her 100 flowers.

Naturally I thought it would be a nice excuse to get out my camera one last time before it goes back to the shop. (see below)
Saying Good Bye...
February 22, 2010
For the first time ever, Josh said good bye to a baby tooth today.

It's about time!!! It was loose for ages, and bothering him for about a week. Last night I finally resorted to a Sugar Daddy to try to yank it out. It definately helped, but it wasn't until school today it finally fell out.

Can you tell how thrilled he is? He's finally now a real big kid, and not a little kid. It's a right of passage, you know.
In other news, the camera is going bye-bye for awhile too. Well, actually, two camera's are leaving my posession tomorrow. My old reliable camera is going to a friend wanting to upgrade. My new fabulous camera keeps being sent to me broken (yes, I'm beyond frustrated). This is the same reason for my blog strike a month ago. However this time around I won't have any backup equipment. I have taken a few shots that I'm going to share over the next few days to try to get us through this spell with the least amount of mental anguish and emotional trauma possible.
So stay tuned for tomorrow... I'm loving this picture. I'll give you a hint. It coordinates with Nataley's 100th day of kindergarten.
Promise of Spring
February 19, 2010
My heart leapt a little when I saw the trees are starting to bud!

You can slightly see on the bottom left corner that, yes, it was still snowing a bit, but my focus was these little buds, promising that spring will be coming yet again. And while I can't wait for green grass and flowers, it makes me want to go skiiing again soon before its too late!
