Alex - Senior 2012 January 17, 2011 Alex is an absolute doll and I'm so glad she's letting me take her senior pictorial! While it's a bit early yet, we thought a few winter pics might be fun. :)     Long Awaited Snow Angel January 12, 2011 Nataley's waited patiently for a real snow angel session, complete with snow of course. Here are her pics from her 3 minute photo session yesterday afternoon :) Some Snow Fun January 11, 2011 Since winter hit, Nataley has asked me to take her out for a real honest to goodness ''snow angel'' photo session. We did a faux session in studio, but she wanted outdoors, in the snow, wearing a tutu and fluffy shirt and wings. Brrr, right? Late last year we had a great snow, but the winds and temperatures made it so that, even though I'm the most fun mom in the world, I had to be mean and say no. We weren't gonna go get pnemonia just for a photo! But this afternoon it was perfect - nearly warm! And the snow was coming down ever so lovely. So the kids and I went right after school and while I took pics of Nataley (about three minutes, don't worry - even with these 'warm' temps I'm not crazy) the boys played. Back in real clothes the kids all played a little bit. Still got to proof Nataley's fancy photo session, but here's some snowy snapshots for you to enjoy :)  Can you see how happy he is?! I don't get it. That doesn't look at all fun to me.  This was a pose Nataley came up with. Sure girlie, whatever.  Again, Brrrrr... but he's sure having fun.   My children are so happy, it rubs off on everyone.  I love these types of snow storms. Everything seems to slow down in life and look so beautiful and serene. Even old weeds look pretty to me :) |
