Joshua Strikes It Big Time
January 22, 2011
WOW JOSH!!! WTG!!!
When daddy brought Joshua home from bowling it was announced that we would have a family meeting. Since hubby and I hadn't talked together about having a family meeting, yeah, I was sort of curious. But it soon became evident that Joshua would be holding the meeting as we all sat down and he began pulling things out of his bowling ball bag.

Joshua previously got a patch for her league shirt/jersey for getting a hambone, two strikes in a row. His old record was three strikes in a game (we don't come from a long line of bowlers here, so this is impressive for us). But TODAY he got FIVE strikes and a spare - at one time FOUR in a row for a double hambone (I think that's what he said).

I have my theory on why today he was incredibly fabulous today. It was all the hair.

You see, instead of his normal comb to the side or straight down, he wanted a mohawk. Even better, we grabbed the GREEN gel for a very intimidating look. I know, you're a little scared now, aren'tcha? Try not to look directly into the eyes or you may quake infear (or giggle at the adorableness).

And so, my guess is, that the hair made him either better balanced, or aerodynamic, creating super speed and strength thusfar not yet experienced. Captain Fire Ball with the Green Haired Monster are surely a team not to be surpassed!
It's Still Winter
January 20, 2011
I gotta confess, I'm not feeling motivated to update the blog or take pics recently. It's still winter, and I've definately got the blahs. We got an ice storm this week and all the schools closed. I would have thought that'd be perfect for some fabulous pics. Nope, it was nearly invisble. But today's fresh snowfall and a cardinal made me do a few clicks... and here they are. :)

Alex is an absolute doll and I'm so glad she's letting me take her senior pictorial! While it's a bit early yet, we thought a few winter pics might be fun. :)

Nataley's waited patiently for a real snow angel session, complete with snow of course. Here are her pics from her 3 minute photo session yesterday afternoon :)
