Rock Star Nataley October 29, 2011 The boys had their night time session a week ago so Nataley got to take some pics today all dolled up in her rock star outfit for trick or treating.   
Poor Lil Poe October 26, 2011 I thought I'd do a little session with Poe. He was super scared. Poor little Poe... but he's still cute!    Jedis at Night October 23, 2011 The ten year old wanted a new photograph to submit to the next competition and decided he wanted to use our new wind turbines against a sunset. I tried my darndest to teach how to meter off the sky, and in the end he ended up finding some shots he loved.  Afterwards the boys, who came prepared with their Jedi robes and light up light sabers, took to the top of a hill for a mini silhouette shoot.    Goodbye Garden October 22, 2011 I've gotten most of my garden 'put away' for the winter except a few things still flush with goodies... but today I officially said goodbye to the rest. Boo hoo. It's going to be store bought produce until next year.    Snapshots October 19, 2011 We're getting over being sick here, but its still far past time to have a bit of a pictorial update on the kiddos. Christopher is doing well, and very much hoping to win something in the next photo competition he's entering. However, Joshua's entries will be hard to beat.     Nataley is all about art and photography too... Unfortunately the cheapo camera she's using only takes the blurriest kind of photos. I share my camera on occassion with the kids, but its not like I trust her to take it to school so she can take photos of leaves on the way home. It may be time for a tad bit of an upgrade this holiday season.  Poe isn't suppose to get on the furniture... HOWEVER when you're that cute, it's hard to yell too much.  I wanted to give Frankalina a chance to get a new picture too. You can tell she was thrilled. Stephanie & Joel are Married! October 16, 2011 It was a lovely fall day yesterday and I was so happy that I was asked to photograph Stephanie and Joel's beautiful wedding in Ada, ohio. I enjoy photographing weddings very much, but this one was especially fun being back where my husband and I had so many date nights in our pre-kids life. Thanks so much for letting me be apart of your day, and CONGRATULATIONS!   ..,,,,,,,,,     ..,,,,  Luke - Senior Class of 2012 October 9, 2011 I would say that Luke's senior session mirrored that of 99% of the senior boys sessions I do. Not totally sure he wanted pics, but ended up having a good time and admitting it was in fact painless.   ......     Zoo Trip October 6, 2011 We've had some stress and changes at the house, and after taking care of some things in the city this morning we decided to destress with a fun trip to the zoo. (check out the crazy fog pics on the way there!) The last three times we had gone it was pouring down rain, and at 80 degrees and sunny we truly couldn't have asked for anything better! Oh, and Nataley finally got to eat Crickets. She caught some in the spring and was going to cook them up, but when it came down to it, neither of us had the heart to actually kill the crickets. So these were already dead, and though nerves got her for a few moments, once she popped one in her mouth she declared she could eat them all day long. Joshua tried one and spit it out, Chris couldn't quite eat one, and I couldn't get past a leg in my mouth and immediately spit it out and drunk a ton of Mt Dew. YUCK. Soccer Is Over (phew) October 5, 2011 Soccer is over, and just in time in my opinion. We only allow our children to be in one activity at a time, and their holiday play auditions came the day before the end of soccer. So we fudged the rule a little bit and let them try out anyway and thanked our lucky stars that they were no longer in the post season tournament the next day :) Instead of blogging months of soccer pics, I thought one slideshow sounded better. This was the first year the kids played on a real soccer team, and where they lacked in experience and raw talent they made up in determination. It was SO FUN watching them play and learn. Snow Kit October 2, 2011 There once was was a beautiful princess who was driven from the castle by an evil... well you know the story. Lovely little Kit braved the cold and wind to find her way to Van Wert and get her pictures taken in her gorgeous costume. Thanks for coming Kit!      |
